Digital products & subscriptions

Subscription fees are billed in advance. You may cancel renewal at any time. Unused time in the current billing period is generally non-refundable unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase.

Live courses & private lessons

• Cancellation 24 or more hours before the session (the notice period, 24 hours unless we state another number at booking): full refund.
• Cancellation with less notice than that: the session may be forfeited or credited at our discretion.
• If the teacher or school cancels, you always receive a full refund or a free reschedule.

Institutional packages

Quoted packages follow the terms in your agreement. Deposit refunds depend on work already delivered.

You are responsible for account credentials and accurate information. We may suspend accounts that misuse the platform.

Course materials, tools and branding remain our property or that of licensors. You receive a limited licence for personal or agreed institutional use.

Limitation

Services are provided with professional care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses to the extent permitted by law.

Data we collect

Account details, contact information, order history, recruitment materials (CVs and job posts), consultancy requests, and technical logs needed to run the service. Lesson recordings only if explicitly enabled and consented. What the forms on this site collect is listed in Forms on this site below.

Forms on this site

The site has these forms: Contact; consultancy enquiry (Initiate-AI for Schools); free trial lesson; enrol with another student; learner information; and, when you are not signed in, teacher profile (CV summary) and school job post. They are for parents, guardians, teachers and schools to fill in, not for children. We do not store a submission unless you tick the agreement box on the form.

What we collect. Every form: your name, your email address and what you write; the name of the form it came from (a short label); the time you ticked the agreement box; your browser type; and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address instead of the address itself. We use the last two only to limit abuse. In addition:

• Contact: the topic you choose.
• Consultancy: your school or organisation, your role (optional), your city or country, and the topic.
• Free trial lesson: your country, an optional phone or messaging contact, how you found us, your child's name, age and English level, the course, what you would like to study, your time zone and the lesson times you choose.
• Enrol with another student: an optional phone or messaging contact, your child's or the student's name, the name of the student you want to join, their lesson times, the course, group size and any notes.
• Learner information: the student's name and age group, the parent's contact number, the reason for learning, challenges, strengths and study preference, and the course, mode, group size, package and times chosen. Challenges and strengths can describe a child's learning needs, so please share only what you are comfortable sharing.
• Teacher profile (CV summary, not signed in): subjects, levels taught, the file name of your CV and your notes. The CV file itself is not uploaded through this form.
• School job post (not signed in): school name, location, position, subject, details, how to apply, requirements, and a video link if you add one.

Why. To reply to you, to arrange lessons or recruitment, and to run our service. We do not sell personal data.

Where it goes. Submissions are stored in our database, which is a cloud database service run for us by Supabase. We also email a notice to [email protected] through the Resend email service. For learner information, the email notice carries only the parent's name, email address and a record number, not the child's details; those are kept in the database only. If the database cannot be reached, the email notice for the other forms carries what you typed so that it is not lost; for learner information only an alert with the parent's name and email address is emailed (no child's details), and the page tells you it was not sent.

If sending fails. The page tells you. A copy of what you typed is then kept only in your own browser on this device (see Browser storage below) and is not sent to us.

How long. We keep form submissions for 24 months and then delete them.

Children. A child's details are asked for only where a parent or guardian chooses to give them to book lessons (free trial lesson, enrol with another student, learner information). Please do not include more about a child than the lessons need.

Classroom & video

Live sessions may process audio, video and display names through the classroom provider you configure (built-in console for demos; Daily, Twilio, Zoom or private Jitsi in production). Hosts should only admit expected learners and should not record without a lawful basis and notice.

Use

To deliver services, process payments, improve products, and communicate about your account. We do not sell personal data.

Browser storage (this demo)

Until a server is connected, cart, orders, session and site setup are stored in your browser (localStorage). A copy of a form that could not be sent is also kept there, as described above. Clearing site data removes them. Production deployments should move this to secured databases.

Processors

Payment and video providers (e.g. Stripe, classroom hosts) process data under their agreements when connected. For the forms on this site: Supabase (cloud database service) stores the submissions, Resend sends the email notice to our team, and Cloudflare hosts this site and runs the small program that receives the forms.

Your rights

Request access, correction or deletion by emailing [email protected] (or via Contact). To ask us to delete something you sent through a form, say which form and the email address you used. Retain orders as required for accounting. You may also clear local demo data from your browser settings.

XAG only displays a status once it has actually been earned from the named provider. Where a check has not yet been performed, this page says so plainly rather than implying a claim that hasn't been established.
